Great spot to sit and relax while studying. The coffee was strong and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was spot on with a very homey vibe. 2 hours here feels like 20 minutes.

What a gem, truly a very special place with character and beautiful antiques. I had a pumpkin latte, roast beef sandwich and enjoyed the vibe on the back of the room on the couches. Perfect place to come to work or catch up with a friend, while hunting for antiques.

10/10 for this location and every branch of Cake Chef etc. Desserts are always delicious and fresh. This location is very unique and the desserts are just as amazing as the other spots. The girls at the counter are always so helpful, sweet, and kind! Picked up the strawberry lemonade last visit and just like everything else it was amazing. The cute little message on the cup was a nice touch :)

What a hidden gem "Cake Chef's Coffee Collectibles" is. Parking can be a challenge, but not for lack of effort. It is available, but the demand for these pastries, cakes, breakfast & lunch specialties far outweigh the available parking spots. Young adults at the counter are terrific. They go above & beyond to satisfy any customer requests. I wanted chocolate covered eclairs. They weren't in the beautiful, long, spotless display case. The young lady asked someone & in a minute or less, they were being whipped together. The Italian cheesecake is addictive. Ditto the creme brulee. Do not let the sizes kid you! You will finish it all & wish there was more. St. Joseph's pastries with creme & cannot creme fillings are huge, light, and outstanding. This is my "go-to" bake shop on Staten Island. I have yet to have a bad experience. Historic and worthy of the status, buona fortuna, team!

When I heard about this place, I thought it was some ordinary Cafe but when I came here for the first time I was amazingly overwhelmed by what they have. This place had a cafe, bakery and all the way in the back, they have an antique store. The atmosphere felt comfortable and artistic inside. They had a lot of tables and chairs but one spot had a table and couches with a big Brooklyn sign in the background. There was a lot of books, antiques, old items and collectibles that were used for cooking and other things. There was even large line of rolling pins around the place. I supposed to get breakfast there. But me and a group of people from JCC got there a little late because of traffic and backtracking. So we had lunch instead. They had desserts, drinks and good dining. Waitresses were a little busy with our lunches, but I respected their hard-work and dedication. I got myself an avocado turkey club sandwich There was no cheese,so my side of smashed potatoes as an alternative. I went inside their bathroom and it looked very fancy. It showed a little history of places that was part of cake chef. It felt like I was in another timeline from way back in the day. We met this guy who was kind of the owner of the place. He was kind and greeting with his presence and gave us a chocolate coin we even took a picture with him. By the end of the day, we went inside their store and there were so many items that will collected from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I was so fascinated by what they have, there was no explaining it. I might want to come back here for The full experience because this place was a great experience.

I could write a novel on reasons I love Coffee and Collectibles but I will try to be brief! First of all, the staff is outstanding. People like Bri, Summer, James, and Sal make you feel like family when you walk in and no matter how many customers are around you get quick service with plenty of employees behind the counter. I love that breakfast and lunch are all day so if it is 8am and you want to grab a hot dog or chicken cheesesteak or salad to take to work with you, you can! The coffee is outstanding and is only place that has such a delicious toffee nut! I love that they have a parking lot and more than one entrance (you can enter on Manor or at the antiques entrance on Victory. They have great seating options and such a large clean personal bathroom instead of dealing with stalls etc. They have great prices (even on full size cakes) and on Thursdays through Sundays they have “bargain day old” containers for just 5 that taste same day fresh! Sundays after 4pm they also have discounts on almost everything! They also have Cookie Jar containers of assorted cookies, and Cake Chef favorites for those of us who have been longtime customers of their franchise! I love that the owners are heavily involved and really make sure customers have a great experience. My new favorite place!!

Update, we stopped in for something to eat. Waffles and eggs, Israeli salad woth grilled chicken and the steak sandwhich which was delicious! New pictures below. Super cute place. We went after dinner, grabbed a couple of cookies and cappuccino. Lots and lots and lots of antiques to look at while you are there. There are tables and wifi if you want to sit and enjoy your desert as well.

After getting recommendations from two different friends on social media about this place, I just had to check it out myself. When I arrived in my car, the free parking lot was full, so I decided to park across the street in a neighboring lot. This told me that this cafe is busy, which is a good thing. Upon entering the front door, I was greeted to a sprawling space that was full of visually interesting decor and nick nacks. It felt like a giant living room in someone's home and this hominess instantly made me feel comfortable. It also felt like it can be a museum that displayed pieces of Americana. There was an eclectic assortment of furniture. One section had large tables and chairs while another section had sofas with coffee tables to lounge by. Every square inch of this place was visually interesting. the walls were lined with shelves displaying antiques and other collectible items. One wall displayed a giant neon sign that paid homage to Brooklyn. Even the bathroom was well-displayed with various curios lining the walls. I chose to sit in the sofa area at a small table so that I can continue writing my book. I ordered coffee, a tuna sandwich, and a fresh Italian pastry. Each item was delicious. the menu is wide and offers many kinds of drinks and food. I peeked behind the counter and noticed a huge kitchen and bakery section which was the source of all the great food. This cafe merges into an antique and collectible store that is chock-full of collectible items and other memorabilia for sale to the public. My mom and aunt love antiques. I can't wait to bring them with me the next time I visit this cafe. The only negative that I can think of is that there are limited electric outlets for those who want to work on their laptops. However, I was able to scout out two outlets at one end of the cafe.
